SIE 2026 – L’Aquila, 24/26 Giugno 2026
SIE-2026, the 57th Annual Meeting of the Associazione Società Italiana di Elettronica (SIE), will be held in L’Aquila, Italy from June 24 to 26, 2026.
The meeting is organized organized by the University of L’Aquila and will take place in the city of L’Aquila, on June 24th–26th, 2026, at the Centro Congressi Zordan, located in Piazza San Basilio (see website: https://sie2026.laquilacongressi.it)
The venue, situated in the historic heart of L’Aquila, offers a modern and functional environment within a city renowned for its cultural heritage and academic excellence. The Centro Congressi Zordan represents a strategic hub for national and international scientific events, fostering dialogue and innovation.
The SIE-2026 Annual Meeting is organized as a long oral plenary session on emerging topics of particular interest for the Electronics community. Invited lectures by international experts on state of-the-art topics will support the scientific programme. Poster sessions will provide attendees interactive interactions.
The event aims to enrich the traditional program with emerging topics of particular relevance to the Italian Electronics community and to promote the exchange of the latest research results in the following key areas:
- Integrated Circuits and Systems (Sistemi elettronici integrati)
- Micro- and Nano-Electronic Devices (Dispositivi micro e nano elettronici)
- Microwave Electronics (Elettronica delle microonde ed onde millimetriche)
- Sensors, Microsystems and Instrumentation (Sensori, microsistemi e strumentazione)
- Optoelectronics and Photonics (Optoelettronica e fotonica)
- Power Electronics (Elettronica di potenza e applicazioni industriali)
- Electronic Systems and Applications (Sistemi elettronici e applicazioni)

Two types of three-page abstracts may be submitted through the EasyChair platform at: easychair.org/conferences/?conf=sie2026
- review contributions, highlighting already presented results;
- original contributions, containing significant novel results.
The submission deadline is April 1, 2026. Selected contributions will be published in “Lecture Notes on Electrical Engineering” (Springer, indexed Scopus).
International Graduate School for PhD students in Electronics
An International Graduate School for PhD students in Electronics is organized by the University of L’Aquila and will be held from June 22th to 24th, 2026.
A guided visit to Laboratri Nazionali del Gran Sasso (LNGS) is organized on June 23th.
The school topic is: “Industrial skills in electronic and microelectronic systems”. Among the speakers, there will also be leading representatives from the main electronics and microelectronics companies in the area, including Thales Alenia Space Italia, Leonardo S.p.A., Micron, L-Foundry, etc.
The school will take place in Centro Congressi “Luigi Zordan”, Piazza San Basilio 6, L’Aquila.
